I really want to read over The Talented Mr Ripley and All Souls’ scripts these holidays but they were both taken from the school library and i went to other library and they didnt have the books.

i mean..
i love school, school is the best, yay for school woo.

it seems like we didnt have much theatre this week due to moving of wood from musical which took up one lesson, then we missed a lesson due to macbeth, and then we had one lesson for rehearsals and half of one today because of the needles.

for the one rehearsal we had we went through sophie’s second memory, wow gemma well done. i wish i could get in the moment like that. you just got so emotional i could see the tears in ur eyes. i just sat there on the box with my jaw touching the ground in amazement.
and i need to learn my lines. i know them. its just when i get to rehearsals i forget them and get nervous because there is nothing in my hands and i freak out a little because i dont know what to do with them and i feel awaked.

acting is the hardest profession in the world.

so, nia doesn’t come in the void until alex’s memory. so she kinda never really explores the void. therefore i was think that instead of me sitting down on the boxes which i have been doing. maybe due to lazy/tiredness. i should walk and look around the void and explore it which the other 3 characters do at the start.

OMG I SHAT MY DACKS AT THAT OPENING SCENCE.
i wrote a fair few pages throughout the play, most of it is written on top of one other. and the first word i wrote was .. something i shouldnt post there. mmm lets just say its rhymes with duck and starts with a f.

seriously that opening scene was absolutely amazing. wow. crap. shivers.
i really enjoyed the light. that strobe light effect was awesommmmmee.
i think its something we must use in 100.

and the set. HOLY MOLY WAS THAT A GOOD SET.

acting. well… lady macbeth and macbeth didn;t really like macbeth’s character was just too crazy to start off with, how is acted throughout the whole play should have been towards the end because the way he used his voice i believe this guy is loosing the plot yadda yadda, it was believe but there should have been a developement of his character, it was just there for the begining. if that makes any sence? at the start lady macbeth was good, but then it just didnt work for me, i didnt believe the whole lady macbeth sleepwalking going mad scene when she was crying on the floor, it could have been so much better.
mmm mmm yumm chhaaa malcom was a hotty!! LOL
banquo was good. and the witches were brillant. the first witch who was also lady mcduff, i liked her alot.
im a bit iffy on the whole lady mcduff young duff murther scence. it didnt seem to fit with the whole world war 2 era for me.
OH and the ending. didnt see that coming.

HAHA when laba’s character was killed.. duncan? i think? and when everyone came on stage 2 men came out on one side together and one was pulling his zip up.. haha classic.

so jarrod n i had a few chats bout boxes
he likes my idea of having other box like simones and then having to small square boxes when pushed together equal same size as the larger boxes.
i think the boxes being these sizes will work better for the memory scenes for the bed and desk and other stuff.
now the colour.
well jarrod and myself both dont like the idea of black boxes.
i was thinking about the boxes being the same colour as the walls n floor .. the greyishie colour. but then it might blend in to much … which im not sure is a good or bad thing?.
sooo if we dont want the boxes to blend in with the set .. do we want to go white … or will that blend in too much with the costumes? hmmm im not to sure what we want to do?
soo ideas anyone?

oh i must add that bunnings are CLEARLY the best ever.
and this guy that one of the paint shops down mount alexander road.
they helped me out sooo sooo much coz i didnt really know what to do with my set model.

ooooh speaking for my set model ….. with the curved wall and the circle window thingie i was thinking about what to do with the circle …. i would like to use glass … but im not sure if that can be done? if not what else? hmmmm

well … let me start of with six 5 .. i swear i did it.
neways from the notes in my book and what is left of my memory week 5 started off with half the class doing some pych or chem sac.
so that left only beth jordy josh n burak. Oh and myself.
we didnt do much, me n beth wanted to play games
so then i remember exploring the storerooms and i found some pretty niffy stuff
and stuff from clowing in yr 9 ..just brings back happy joyful sweet memories
then bethany and i sat on the stage and i tried so squash burak with my hands. Mmm it was fun
yeh that was the first lesson.

i was a little bit annoyed about a last minute meeting that took place one lunchtime,
i would of love to attended and i really wanted to, but i had a brodie meeting. i just would like in the future that next time theres a lunchtime meeting if we could be told a few days in advance, not that morning because i really would of liked to be there.

mm besides that we nearly finish blocking memory scenes. well done lisa ur going a good job. we got up to my favourite scene “i was in for a wicket shag.” yay
umm yeh cant remember anything else about week 5

i saw the ideas burak n erika had for our poster and i absolutely love the ‘lost’ idea.
it kinda relates in a way to 100 all these strangers on an island who have no idea where they are yehhh sounds a bit like the void.

i really reallly realllllyyy very much so, enjoyed starting the class singing ‘will i lose my dignity.’
even tho burak n erika had nooo idea what we were singing… and maybe josh? i dont remember.
i think we need to have a warm up game traditionality.
i remember once in year 10 running around the room like animals ….. that was fun.
haha i’m not saying that we all need to run around like animals but i feel like a i need to warm up and focus etc.
i like what were doing with lisa with the faces and voice work, reminds me of year 9 & 10 drama with scotty and one lesson coming out gobsmacked because he told us it was good to say the ‘f word’ …. ooo miss the good old days.

production meeting was pretty hetik bro. everything sounds like it is coming together very nicely. it was really good to hear what was going on with other people’s stagecraft. there soo still much to be done tho. im so excitied tho weeeeeeeeee
ohhh also i spoke to a few year 12 tech students about making a curved wall and how i will go about it and they suggested using ‘ply wood’.
i really think jarrod n myself need to get cracking quick smart with those boxes before anything else.
i think all the actors need to get use to them being around on stage and using them.
as ive notice with myself theres moments when im just there standing doing nothing.
i think nia is very much in love with alex and should be around him most of the time, i just notice today that there was one part when alex was on one side and i was on the other at the opposite end. i think we (me n josh) need to show more of an connetion, and work on our ‘a-line’ hugs. hehe

i really liked these two ideas for set. i think they would have fitted the surroundings for 100…. i have soooooooo many ideas for this set. the first thought that poped up into my head was black! and then the second thing i thought was it all white. i liked my idea of a very plain and simple white or maybe off white for the set. It kinda reminded me of the sterotypical idea of ‘heaven’.
im very excitied about 100. even though its moving slowing i think thats a good thing. all the actors so far have impressed me so much…. the pressure is on for me.
burak is doing an fantastic job at ketu. gemma plays sophie so very well. joshy is awesome and i sometime forgets he is a newy and in year 11. and i love the way lisa is playing the guide. it very enjoyable watching these kiddos on stage. i am a tad nervous about playing nia still. im going to be acting with 4 amazing actors and yehhhhh … mmm ..
ive beeen reading over the script trying to memories lines. whenever i see josh we practice our

other helpfull thing that look place this week was the trip to the theatre. it was really goood to see where we were going to be performing. i think the place it is at is perfect the idiots guide to porno’s set was still up. i thought that set would be perfect for 100.
